It’s time again for your favourite pop-culture podcast! This week we are looking at Steve Albini, the recording engineer responsible for the sonics on Nirvana’s In Utero, The Pixies’ Surfer Rosa and of course his own work as a guitarist/song writer for Big Black and Shellac. The inspiration for this week’s episode was an article recently posted on Spin.com where they listed the top 100 guitarists of all-time. We suggest you check out the list before listening to this episode as we refer to it A LOT. This week our map goes every which way grunge and “alternative” rocky. We’ve got Jane’s Addiction, the Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, and the Pixies of course.
