The Last Waltz 35th Anniversary Special

The Last Waltz 35th Anniversary

It was 35 years ago to the day that the original line up of the Band appeared on stage at Winterland in San Francisco for the last time. ┬áThe event was captured by film-maker Martin Scorcese and released as “The Last Waltz” – arguably the greatest concert film ever made. ┬áToday on NewbsRadio we sit down with Lee Newby, a then marine biology student, who by way of Rolling Stone magazine made his way to this historic event and he gives us his first hand account of how the evening shaked down.
