Vancouver, B.C. may be the place…
we live, but neither David nor myself are originally from Lotus Land – I am a prairie boy from Alberta and David is from Ontario. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t passionate about where we are from and realize how it shaped us into something something.
The other day Lookout! Records closed it’s doors so today I immersed myself in some of the greatest punk rock ever which led me to the song Vancouver B.C. by The Smugglers.
It’s a simple homage to their hometown with a cameo by Terry David Mulligan (awesome) and while it might pale in comparison to:
